The First session, of a 10-session course on Certificate in Clinical Orthodontics was held recently at the Academy of Orthodontics in Rawalpindi. Dr Amjad Mahmood - Head of Orthodontic department MIHS & Fellow of Royal college of Edinburgh along with Dr Rozina Nazir - Assistant Professor MIHS & Fellow of College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan conducted the program which covered lecture sessions and a hands-on workshop.
The first session included molar banding and bracket bonding in orthodontics. It thoroughly covered all the aspects related to the topic, while the participants enthusiastically learned different techniques.
The objectives of the course were; facilitating professional growth by providing a practical learning atmosphere. Gaining knowledge and confident to perform fixed Orthodontics. Comprehensive training and personal guidance. Reviewing and gaining experience from case records and knowledge sharing.
