Karachi: Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM), organized a one-day course on “Crown Lengthening Surgery”.
This session was conducted by Prof. Dr. Tariq Javed, Dean, and University of South Carolina, USA. AIDM’s faculty members, students, house officers and postgraduate trainees attended the course.
Dr. Tariq delivered a detailed and comprehensive lecture on Crown Lengthening Surgery. He showed and discussed multiple cases of his own, in which he had successfully performed Crown Lengthening for his patients. Whilst conducting this course, he emphasized the importance and maintenance of the Biological width, which should never be violated.
He performed different procedures like Crown Lengthening surgery, Scaling with Deep Curettage, and Frenectomy on different patients, in the presence of all students and faculty members.
The session turned out to be highly informative and captivated everyone’s interest. The team of AIDM thanked Prof. Tariq for sharing his expertise and knowledge with everyone.
