Convocation and alumni
Margalla Institute of Health Sciences is holding the Convocation for all the graduates of Dentistry (BDS) and Physical Therapy (BSPT) on the 6th of April, 2015. An alumni annual reunion followed by a memorable musical night will also be organized for the alumni, which constitutes of general body elections of the Margalla Alumni Association (MAA), followed by a dinner. Alumni from 13 batches of BDS and Physiotherapy will gather at this event and share their ideas and success stories with each other and the upcoming graduates/current students of Margalla Institute of Health Sciences.
Convocation will be followed by an Expo and Alumni Annual Reunion / Musical Night at the Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad.
About Margalla Institute of Health Sciences
Margalla Institute of Health Sciences was established in 1997 and is imparting quality education in important disciplines of health sciences namely; Bachelor of Dental surgery (BDS), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Its graduates have done their M.Sc, M.Phil, MCPS, FCPS and PhD in respective sub specialties from various local and internationally renowned Universities/Colleges including; CPSP, NUST, Agha Khan, Queen Marry, University of London, UK, University of Glasgow, Sheffield University and many others. All the above programs are registered with their respective Councils and affiliated with renowned Universities of the country.
Margalla College of Dentistry has the unique distinction of being the only dental institution in Rawalpindi. The B.D.S program has been recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) and affiliated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore. Margalla Institute of Health Sciences is also the pioneer of Physical therapy and Pharmacy education in this region. Margalla College of Pharmacy and Islamabad College of Physiotherapy are constituent colleges of Margalla Institute of Health Sciences. Margalla College of Pharmacy is registered with Pharmacy Council of Pakistan and both colleges are affiliated with the University of Sargodha.
