Karachi: The closing ceremony of the 3 day workshop on ‘Continuing Professional Development Program’ in collaboration with Learning Innovative Division HEC, Islamabad organized by the Department of Orthodontics, SIOHS.
The ceremony was enthusiastically attended by the faculty members of SIOHS and affiliated colleges. The guests of honour were Javed Memon, Regional Director HEC, Prof. Dr. S.M.Tariq Rafi (Vice Chancellor of JSMU), Prof. Dr. S.M.Kefi Iqbal (Dean, faculty of dentistry, SIOHS, JSMU) and Registrar JSMU, Prof. Saadia Akram.
During the concluding remarks of the closing ceremony, Javed Memon Regional Director HEC said that, this workshop has been a very helpful tool for all those who attended, especially the teaching faculty. He further appreciated the initiative of the In charge, Department of Orthodontics, Dr. Erum Behroze for organizing the workshop and shed light upon the aims of HEC, to promote the highest standards of academic excellence in both teaching and research sectors.
In the end a token of appreciation was given by Prof. S.M.Tariq Rafi Vice Chancellor, JSMU & Prof. S.M. Kefi Iqbal, Dean faculty of dentistry, SIOHS. Shields & certificates were distributed by the chief guest, amongst the speakers and participants.
