Karachi: Dental Community appreciates the newly formed National Medical and Dental Academic Board (NMDAB) and appointment of Dr Kefi Iqbal in the board. The Dental officials congratulates Dr Kefi on his selection in the Academic Board and believed that Dr Kefi would rightly represent dental fraternity from Sindh in NMDAB.
With the aim to look into the standards of education being followed by the undergraduate/post-graduate dental institutions across Pakistan, new academic board was formed. The 18-member board, National Medical and Dental Academic Board (NMDAB) was recently formed by the Ministry of National Health Services (NHS). The members of the board consists of established Medical and Dental Professionals. Their task would be to oversee the educational practices in Pakistan. Along with Prof Dr Syed Muhammad Kefi Iqbal, Dr Saqib Riaz Qazi has also been included in the board as its members.
The congratulatory messages were sent by Prof Dr Arshad Malik, Principle/ Dean Hazrat Bari Imam Sarkar (HBS) Dental College, Prof Dr Ayyaz Ali Khan, National Coordinator, Institute of Advanced Dental Sciences and Research (IADSR), Dr Inayatullah Padhiar (SI), Prof Dr Saqib Rashid, Ex- President, Pakistan Dental Association (PDA). They all expressed their best wishes to Dr Kefi Iqbal and hoped for the betterment in Dental Education Sector.
Prof Dr Syed Muhammad Kefi Iqbal is currently appointed as the Dean, Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences, Jinnah Sindh Medical University and Dr Saqib Riaz Qazi is the Facilitator, Dental composites veneer workshop, Institute of Advanced Dental Sciences and Research.
