Colgate provides free checkups TO 50,000 people DN Report KARACHI: Colgate Palmolive reaches out to the interior of Sindh through its extensive dental health week organized at multiple cities including, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Tandoallahyar, Sukkur, Larkana, & Rohri in association with leading dental institutions. The week started on October 5th till 9th covered more than 113 schools offering 42850 free dental checkups. Total number of checkups including adults and children were over 50,000. The Colgate team worked with universities and hospitals to provide the local children with free dental checkup and educate them about the importance of oral hygiene. The participating universities, colleges and hospitals included Isra University, Sind Gov. Hosp – Qasimabad, Bhittai Dental & Medical College, Bibi Asfa Dental College, Civil Hospital – Sukkur, Anwar Paracha Hospital and DHQ Hospital – Rohri. The Colgate week was much appreciated by the dental professionals as well as local schools and urged them to hold it after every six months.
