Karachi: Department of Community & Preventive Dentistry, Ziauddin University recently organized a CDE programme on Good Ethical Practices in Dentistry at the Abul Hasan Jafarey Auditorium, Ziauddin University, Clifton. The speakers included Prof. Dr. Saqib Rashid President, Pakistan Dental Association, Dr. Irfan Qureshi HOD, SSCMS and Dr. Ashar Afaq Vice Principal & HOD, DIDC, DUHS. The seminar was organized by Dr. Amir Akbar Shaikh HOD Community, Dr. Sidra Mohiuddin and Dr Almas Amin. Prof Mervyn Hosein delivered the vote of thanks and urged the dentists to value their role from a patients perspective while treating patients. Prof Nuzhat Hasan presented the shields to speakers and sponsors. The programme was sponsored by Shield Corporation, Pharmatec, Platinum pharmaceuticals and Dental News.
