Karachi: The Department of Pharmacology, Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College (FRPMC) recently organised a guest lecture titled ‘Formulating Research Question and Scientific Paper Writing.
Dr Nabeel Naeem Baig, Senior Executive Officer, Research Unit, College of Physician and Surgeon, Pakistan (CPSP) was invited to speak and speak occasionally.
Prof. Asgher Mehdi, Head of Department of Pharmacology felicitated guest speaker.
The lecture focused on how to formulate a research question, literature review, essentials of the research proposal, sample size calculation, and statistical analysis.
This lecture's main aim is to inspire young minds for research and give insight into the primary research methodology and biostatistics.
The participants appreciated the lecture delivered by Dr Baig, as it was sufficient for their future research.
In the end, Dr Baig was presented with a token of appreciation by Prof. Asgher Mehdi.
