KARACHI- Dr Farzeen Tanwir, Associate Professor and Director of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Ziauddin College of Dentistry, Ziauddin University has been selected for the Best University Teachers Award for the year 2011 by the Higher Education Commission, Main Awards Committee in a meeting convened on January 11, 2013.The award consists of a certificate and a cash prize. The award will be conferred upon awardees in an award ceremony to be organized shortly by the HEC. Dr. Farzeen Tanwir has been selected for the award as she fulfilled all the parameters and scored highest among the nominations received from the university. This is probably the first time that a faculty of dental fraternity is receiving this award. Dr. Farzeen Tanwir, in July 2012, was also promoted as Associate Professor, Ziauddin College of Dentistry, Ziauddin University.
