Karachi: Well-known Dentist and Academician, Dr. Muhammad Zakir MSc (London) PhD (Dental Materials) is now a part of Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences’ faculty, as the Assistant Professor of the Department of Dental Material Sciences.
Dr. Zakir has obtained his PhD from Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong, which is considered as world’s no. 1 ranked university in this regard. He brings with him years of teaching expertise related to Dental Material Sciences.
Moreover, Dr. Navara Tanweer has also joined the Dental Material’s Department as its Senior Registrar. She is currently doing her MDS from Dow University of Health Sciences; and has numerous National and International publications to her credit.
Principal, Professor HR Sukhia, warmly welcomed the new faculty members to the team of SSCMS and has strongly encouraged a research based environment in the college.
