Effective council, referenda discussions on PSOMP agenda

Islamabad: A meeting of Pakistan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology (PSOMP) Federal Council, was recently held at Islamabad club. The event was attended by the executive members of the federal council.

The meeting highlighted important agenda points. The members pledged to make the Federal Council effective and it was decided to schedule meeting bimonthly. The purpose of which was to arrange/facilitate oral pathology related exercises.

The meeting also held voting to designate administrative duties to the executive members and select the new cabinet. Prof Dr Joharia Azhar was selected as President, Prof Dr Rizwan was chosen as Vice-President, Assistant Prof Seema Shafique as General Secretor and Assistant Prof Amber Kiyani was finalized as Finance Secretory.

The meeting also decided that an oral pathology study day/case discussion day would be initiated every two months and volunteer teaching institutes would host it. The volunteered institutes included Islamic International Dental College, Fauji Foundation Dental College and Rawal Dental College.

The meeting was adjourned till the next schedule.
