Peshawar- Election for the vacant seat of Senate, Syndicate and Academic Council was held at Khyber Medical University (KMU). Voting was conducted among staff members of KMU in Peshawar and Institute of medical sciences (IMS) and Institute of Dental Science (IDS) in Kohat.
Dr. Saad Liaqat, Assistant Professor of Science of Dental Materials,KMU won the race for the position of senate. He contested against Dr. Ahsan Sethi and Mr. Mujeeb Ur Rehman.
Dr. Jawad Ahmad, Dean Institute of basic medical sciences (IBMS) and Dr. Zilli Huma Director congratulated the winner on his victory and wished him to serve with more devotion and honesty.
NOC granted to KMU
PESHAWAR- Khyber Medical University (KMU) received No Objection Certificate from Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The NOC allowed the Institute of basic medical sciences (IBMS), KMU to launching Masters in Philosophy (M Phil) program in the field of Dental Materials and Oral Pathology.
Dr. Benish Aleem, Assistant Professor, Oral Pathology Department and Dr. Saad Liaqat, Assistant Professor,Science of Dental Materials Department succeeded in the recognition of their respective programs by the HEC. KMU would announce admissions in M.Phil program for the dental graduates soon.
