SIALKOT- Free Dental checkup camp was arranged in Out Patient Department (OPD) of ISLAM DENTAL HOSPITAL. Dental screening and consultation was provided to 70 preschool children of The Generation School. The checkup was conducted by house officers and students of 2nd year under the supervision of Dr. Hira Shafique and Dr. Maria Rabbani, Department of Community and Preventive Dentistry, Islam Dental College.
Free dental hygiene kits were distributed among children. An oral education session on tooth brushing method was delivered. The cases were diagnosed and referred to the related departments for consultation and treatment. The preschool children were guided well regarding importance of maintenance of oral hygiene. The faculty was also keeping a follow up of the patients and scheduled further visits for evaluation and free treatments.
