KARACHI- A CME activity was held by Baqai Dental College research and development department (R & D) at Baqai Dental College. The activity was aimed to train its house officers on proper understanding and usage of statistical analysis software and Endnote (referencing software). A three hour long workshop with a full house attendance was executed. The workshop was part of advancement program for executing their research ventures. The faculties both from Baqai Dental College and Baqai Medical College were also in attendance.
The event was chaired by Jawed Farooqui, Assistant Professor Research & Development Department, Baqai Dental College. Dr Rubab gave an extensive lecture on SPSS & Endnote usage and its importance in dental research. This was followed with a hands-on workshop as all the participants had their SPSS & Endnote enabled laptops with them. The audience's interest were kept through interactive discussions and different activities. Dr Aisha Wali, Assistant Director, Head of department R & D and Dr Shehryar Hameed Siddiqi, Assistant Professor R & D facilitated throughout the workshop. The workshop was bolstered by the Medical Education Department to direct the session and amend any issues during the program. There was a colossal reaction by the House Officers and Faculty individuals and valued the endeavors by the research team.
In the end, Dr Kashif Ikram, Principal, BDC, presented the Shield and Ending note to the Workshop Facilitators.
