The dental section IM&DC has actively been participating at various National and International forums.
Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Baig, Assistant Professor, Oral & Maxillofacial surgery department IMDC, presented his study of “Calcifying Cystic Odontogenic Tumor: a Rare entity” at the 7th International Conference and Exhibition on Surgery, in Dublin Ireland.
The logo of Islamabad Medical & Dental College (IM&DC) shined high with John Hopkins University, Mercy University, National University of Singapore, and other prestigious institutes from all around the globe.
The case presented at the conference was of a rare entity, treated completely at the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Islamabad Dental Hospital. It was later published as letter to editor in JCPSP (Journal of College of Physicians and Surgeons) Pakistan. Publication was co-authored by Dr. Khalid Mahmood Siddiqi (HOD OMFS) and Dr. Haafsa Arshad Sahibzada.
