Hyderabad- Independence Day of Pakistan was recently celebrated at Isra Dental College (IDC). Prof. Dr Zahid Iqbal, Principal and HOD, performed the flag raising and cake cutting ceremonies along with faculty, undergraduate/postgraduate students, house officer and staff of IDC.
The program started with recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by National Anthem. Dr Rabia Anis and final year student Sana Nadeem were the program moderators. Dr Zahid highlighted the role of dentists in the progress of our country in his welcome speech. There were quiz competitions among different classes of undergraduate students. Students Waseem Ali and Dr Faizan also sang national songs at the event.
Prof. Dr Nazir Ashraf Laghari (PRO VC) appeared as Chief Guest. He congratulated the organizing committee on the excellent arrangement and also shared his views and message on the Independence Day of Pakistan.
Certificates of participation were distributed among all participants by Prof. Laghari along with Dr Zahid and Dr Amtul Kazi.
