IPAC conducts workshop to shed light on infection control

Lahore: The Department of Safe Dentistry, Infection Prevention and Control Foundation (IPAC) recently conducted Infection Prevention and Control in Dental Healthcare Settings at Rashid Latif Medical and Dental College, Lahore.

This two-day workshop was attended by the Heads of Departments and Senior Faculty members of the Dental College at Rashid Latif Medical and Dental College, Lahore.

Prof. Dr Asif Ali Shah, Principal, Rashid Latif Dental College shed light on the significance and the need for Infection Prevention and Control in Dental Healthcare Settings.

Dr Bukhtawar Azhar, Program Manager, Department of Safe Dentistry, IPAC Foundation delivered the lecture and discussed Cross Infection Control Protocols. This was followed by Hands-on Training Sessions to demonstrate the practical implementation of the guidelines and protocols in a specific dental setting.

At the end of the two-days training workshop, the participants were assessed to evaluate the learning outcomes. CDE Hours by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore were awarded to the participants for the successful completion of the training.
