JPMC Donates Generously CJP for Construction of Dams in Pakistan

KARACHI- Executive Director, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Dr Seemin Jamali, presented a cheque worth Rs5,350,295/- to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar, at Supreme Court of Pakistan, Karachi Registry, for the construction of Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dam.


Deputy Directors, JPMC, Dr Muhammad Suleman, Dr Yaha Tunio, Dr Asad, Dr Nausheen, and Mr Riaz Gill were also present at the occasion.


The teaching and non-teaching staff of JPMC came together to donate their salaries, in order to facilitate the construction of the dam. Staff from Grade 1 to Grade 21, all generously donated their one or two-day salaries.


Executive Director JPMC, Dr Seemin Jamali, personally presented one lakh rupees for the same cause. She said that Pakistan was in dire need of new dams, and they should be constructed to benefit the people and economy of Pakistan.
