KPK cancels ETEA medical and dental entrance test

Karachi: According to recent notification by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) Entrance Test for Khyber Medical University and its allied Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been cancelled. The entrance test was earlier scheduled for October 18th, 2020.

The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be conducted by PMC for the students seeking admission across the country.

The notification stated, "Upon the approval of the Competent Authority, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it is notified that ETEA Entrance Test for Khyber Medical University and its allied Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa scheduled for October 18th, 2020 is hereby cancelled in light of section-18 of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) 2020 Act. The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be conducted by PMC for the students seeking admission across the country.
