ISLAMABAD: PMDC, according to a recent press release has written letters to the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan (CPSP) asking it to provide a list of institutions not yet included in the Third Schedule so as to process their registration cases.
The PMDC has also directed the CPSP that it also provide lists of degrees and diplomas which need to be added to the respective schedules and lists for inspections.
PMDC, in the said letter also informed the CPSP that an executive committee has decided that PMDC would not register CPSP fellows trained in institutions which are not included in the Third Schedule of the PMDC Ordinance. According to an Islamabad High Court order of November 20, PMDC was declared the regulatory authority.
