The department of Periodontology, Ziauddin College of Dentistry, held the celebrations for the 71st Independence Day of Pakistan on Tuesday, 13th August 2018. The patriotic zest and fervor was admirable amongst the students and the faculty. The department was decorated with Pakistan’s national flag, pennants, and colorful balloons, which added a striking patriotic feel to the atmosphere. Everyone had proudly donned the colors of unity; green and white, symbolizing peace and unity that our exquisitely designed national flag preaches.
All the heads of the departments along with their entire faculties attended the cake cutting ceremony and actively took part in the celebrations. Dr. Mervyn Hosein, Principal ZCD, graced the occasion and was a wonderful sport throughout the activity.
