Karachi: Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) recently announced new development regarding the syllabus National Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT). It was further clarified that National University of \Medical Sciences (NUMS) will undertake the examination.
The notification released stated, "Examination Committee of the Council will coordinate and ensure as far as possible that the final syllabus for the examination is common to all provinces and current syllabi for medical entrance exam has already been announced by each of the provincial examination bodies."
The notification announced that a Common Syllabus and Table of Specifications (TOS) Setting Committee will establish guidelines for setting the paper and ensure that the set paper doesn't contain content out of the syllabus.
