Poster Competition at Ziauddin College of Dentistry
Ziauddin College of Dentistry arranged a Poster Competition for the 2nd year BDS (Batch IV) on 20th June 2014. The theme of the Poster Competition was Oral Health Diseases and Measures to overcome them. The event was organized by the Department of Community & Preventive Dentistry under the supervision of Dr Amir Akbar Shaikh (HOD) and Dr Mustafa Naseem (Senior Lecturer).
A total of 54 students participated in the competition and reputed judges from different Dental Colleges including; Dr Sameer Quraeshi, Dr Irfan Qureshi, Dr Ambreena Qureshi, Dr Faiza Amin and Dr Narender Dawani were invited to explore, judge and critique the young intelligent students of Ziauddin Dental College 2nd year.
Mr. Hashim Hassan - Chief Executive Officer of Dental News, also graced the event as the Chief Guest of the competition. At the conclusion of the event, the participating students were awarded with certificates of participation and the top three poster winners were given cash prizes. The honorable judges were also presented with shields of appreciation.
