KARACHI – The Department of Periodontology at Bahria University Medical and Dental College (BUMDC) organized a presentation competition among students of third year BDS. The competition was supervised by Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed HOD Periodontology Department and organized by Dr. Natasha Zaidi, Dr. Umair Aslam and Dr. Saima Mazhar.
The presentation topics were selected from the course outline to enhance knowledge and dialogue among the students. The competition was judged by Prof. Dr. Wahab Kadri HOD Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery BUMDC and Dr. Beenish Alam HOD Oral Biology BUMDC.
Group members presenting the topic “Guided Tissue Regeneration” won the competition and were awarded with certificates. Winning group members included Aqsa, Adeena, Farwah, Moneeba, Bushra and Bisma.
All the dental faculty, HOD’S and House Officers attended the event. Principal Dental College Dr. Kulsoom Fatima Rizv commended all the participants and encouraged the continual organization and execution of such types of competitions and activities.
