Pakistani medical graduates holding the full FCPS, MD or MS in any discipline are invited for two-year fully-funded higher training positions in leading teaching hospitals in the UK. Where possible, preference will be given to those wishing to pursue advanced training in anesthesia, intensive care, neonatology, emergency medicine and pathology, but candidates from all disciplines are welcome to apply.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview in late September 2019, and the first batch of fifty higher trainees can expect to commence working in the UK from March 2020. Upon completion of this two-year training program, all trainees are required to return to Pakistan and to serve in government hospitals for a minimum period of five years.
