By Our Staff Reporter KARACHI - A team of anti-corruption department during its recent raid on the administration block of the city’s Civil Hospital seized record of medicines purchased by the hospital in the last five years. The team of anti-corruption department, led by Deputy Director Tariq Qureshi and Judicial Magistrate Syed Nadeem Jaffery, locked the CHK’s administration block for several hours, sought details from the officials concerned about the medicines purchased by the hospital during the last five years. As soon as the news of the raid by a team of anti-corruption department spread in the hospital, some senior officials and those posted at the pharmacy department reportedly slipped out of the institution. CHK’s medical superintendent Prof Saeed Ahmed Qureshi was reportedly abroad when the raid was conducted at the health facility.
