KARACHI: The Research and Development Department at the Baqai Dental College in collaboration with the Medical Education Department conducted a CME lecture and a hands-on session titled “Research Protocol & Literature Research”.
The session was targeted towards all the house officers of Baqai Dental College. The session commenced with the opening remarks by Dr Aisha Wali, Assistant Director – HOD of Research. Dr Shehryar Hameed Siddiqi, Assistant Professor, delivered a lecture on research protocol and proposal, which was further carried forward in detail by Dr Rubab Jawed Farooqui, Assistant Professor. House officers were engaged in a hands-on session where they were made to design their own proposals and questions.
Above all, Vice-Principal, Baqai Dental College, Dr Talha M Siddiqui, concluded the session by sharing his experiences in the field of research in health sciences and encouraged the house officers to be pro-active towards research as it is the future.
