The Faculty Development Program continues at Baqai Dental College. Recently, a "Small Group Learning" workshop was conducted in the Final year lecture hall. The workshop turned out to be a huge success as per the
Participants of the workshop included Principal Prof Kashif Ikram and Vice Principal Dr Talha M. Siddiqui, along with Heads of the Departments, Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors etc. it was a very engaging activity, which was conducted and facilitated by Head Medical Education Department Dr M. Ainul Haq along with his team Dr Aliya, Dr Madiha and Dr Ruqqayah. Various aspects and different methodologies were discussed. Case based discussions, presentations, and team based learning were the main topics of focus among the participants of the workshop.
Baqai Dental College has initiated Small Group Teaching activity in its schedule at the level of 3rd Professional Year and Final Professional Year BDS Program and plans to apply it throughout the whole BDS Curriculum from next year 2020-21.
