SSUET organizes lecture on Cancer, Radiation, and Stem Cells

KARACHI: The Biomedical Engineering Department of the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology recently hosted an informative lecture on "Cancer, Radiation, and Stem Cells" that was attended by the faculty and a large number of students. The Guest Speaker for the event was renowned herbalist, Dr Nasaka (Nasir Saleem). Prof Dr Vali Uddin, Vice-Chancellor, SSUET, graced the occasion with his presence as well.

Speaking on occasion, noted herbalist, Dr Nasaka pointed out the dangers of cancer treatment. Surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy may even result in the patient’s death owing to its side effects on the body, he said.

He proceeded to talk about the outcome of radiation by stating that disabled children are born in Japan to this day in the affected areas following the atom bomb attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Patients undergoing radiotherapy thus may succumb to the lethal effects of uranium in the blood.

He pointed out that drinking water boiled with coriander leaves three times a day helps neutralize the damaging effects of chemotherapy. Additionally, if you soak Multani Mitti in water for 24 hours and rub it over the entire body of the cancer patient who is under radiotherapy, it will eliminate the side effects of radiation.

Furthermore, Dr Nasaka revealed that if a patient eats watermelon right after dialysis, they might die. Hypertensive patients should avoid eating tandoori roti, as it has baking soda in it, along with spinach, and eggplants. Fast food, he stated, is responsible for liver disorders in many. Cooking in aluminum pots is dangerous for health as it gives root to an autoimmune disease that has been termed incurable globally, he added.
