KARACHI- The dental section of Bahria University Medical and Dental College, continuing with its proud tradition, celebrated a Welcome Party 2015, with an event heldrecently in the honor of the new Director General BUMDC - Vice Admiral (Retd.) Tehseenullah Khan, HI (M). The Principal dental section Prof. Dr.Zubair Ahmed Abbasi alongwith the newly enrolled BDS students, 3rd batch ofBDS(2015-2018), hosted the party.
The program commencedat 7pm as theChief guests of the evening arrived. An introductory presentation was given by senior students,enlightening the new-comers with the history and achievements of Bahria University Medical and Dental College, which was followed by exciting performances by the students of BDS, showcasing their talents. There were entertaining sessions in which titles were given to every student and two students were crowned as lady and lord of the evening. A welcome speech was given by Dr.Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi- Vice Principal &HoD Community Dentistry.Souvenirs were also presented to the honorable Chief Guests, by the dental faculty, as a token of gratitude.
The showconcluded with cake cutting ceremony,dinner and photo session.All in all it was a fun filled event which allowed the fresh batch to mingle socially, not only with senior students but also with faculty members to make great memories which will be cherished forever.-PR
