LAHORE: Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College (AMDC) recently held a white coat ceremony and orientation for the newly admitted dental students.
Col. R. Dr Iffat Batool, Dean Clinical sciences, AMDC, Dr Saeed Anwar, Dean Basic sciences, AMDC, Dr Sadia Minhas, Vice Principal Dental College, AMDC, Dr Farooq, Chairman AMDC, addressed the ceremony.
An orientation video was played in which the history of the college and all the achievements were shown. Moreover, Dr Sabir Hussain gave a welcome note to the students and gave a brief introduction to dental college.
Students took the Hippocratic oath, and the Head of Departments of all the dental subjects gave a brief introduction about their subject and its importance.
At the end of the ceremony, students were taken for a tour of the dental hospital and dental lecture halls. They had also been explained the working in dental clinics.
