KARACHI: The Community Dentistry Department of Dow Dental College (DDC) conducted an online oral health education session for Zubaida Academy Junior Public School on World Oral Health Day in Bhakkar District, Punjab.
This virtual session was arranged using a Zoom link with the collaborated efforts of Dr Muhammad Taqi, Head of Community Dentistry Department, DDC and Dr Amber Saeed.
The program was focused on oral health education and healthy and unhealthy diet. In addition to the presentation, videos regarding brushing techniques were also demonstrated, which helped students better understand oral health.
Children learned about oral health and hygiene and were empowered to take care of their teeth. Lastly, an interactive session was held in which students' questions about their dental health problems in everyday life were answered.
