KARACHI: The Community Dentistry Department of Dow Dental College (DDC) arranged an online oral health education session for the students of Zubaida Academy Junior Public School in Bhakkar District of Punjab to mark World Oral Health Day.
The online session was held in collaboration with Dr Muhammad Taqi and Dr Amber Saeed via Zoom, focusing on educating the children about oral health, healthy and unhealthy diets, and brushing techniques.
The informative presentation included videos demonstrating proper brushing techniques to help students better understand oral health.
An interactive session was also held to answer the children’s questions regarding their dental health problems.
The DCC initiative contributed to promoting oral health education and awareness in the community, especially to educate children about oral health from a young age as it would help them develop healthy oral habits.
