ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Medical and Dental College (IMDC) recently announced the beginning of their World Oral Health Day contest and encouraged all to get involved in their campaign. The last date for confirmation of participation is 15th March 2022.
This year, the Community Dentistry Department at IMDC wants to spread the word through electronic media and help people realise an unhealthy mouth impacts general health and can have a severe impact on people's emotional, social, mental, and overall physical well-being sticking to the theme.

All Islamabad and Rawalpindi dental schools are requested to participate in the video clip contest. The last date for confirmation of participation is 15th March 2022. The contest will be held at IMDC's main campus (Main Murree Road, Satra Meel, Islamabad) on Thursday, March 31st 2022.

REQUIREMENTS
➢ Please confirm your availability by March 15th
➢ The clip can be made on any device
➢ Video clips duration should not be more than 2-5 minutes
➢ A team can make videos of up to 5 members
➢ One video clip per college is allowed to be submitted for the contest
➢ The video clip should meet the subject chosen from the World Oral Health Day sub-theme
➢ To enable judging, videos must be in either English Urdu or include English captions/subtitles
➢ Videos must be filmed in horizontal (landscape) format.
➢ All work must be original material and abide by copyright restrictions
➢ At the beginning of the clip, the participating colleges' logo/name with the name of all the contestants and sub-theme chosen should be displayed
➢ The final video clip must be uploaded by March 25th, 2022, on the link provided with the email.
➢ The contestants must bring a copy of their video clip to the venue, i.e., IMDC's main campus (Main Murree Road, Satra Meel, Islamabad), on Thursday, March 31st 2022.
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
Creativity /Originality:
• Entries must be the students' own work, in the student's own words, and may include personal experiences and thoughtful observations. Videos must reflect that the student has carefully examined and thought through the topic.
Message Content:
• Does the student apply/address the theme of "Be proud of your mouth" • How compelling is the video?
• Is the video presented in a logical sequence?
Technical Organization:
• How well is the video produced regarding its continuity, timing, camera operation, sound quality, editing and adherence to the time limit.
