KARACHI: The husband of ailing Seemi Jamali, the former executive director of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), has refuted some media reports of her wife’s death.
Dr Allah Rukha Jamali, Dr Seemi’s husband, has said his wife’s condition has improved a bit, as compared to what it was a day before, while refuting reports in a section of the media that she had died.
He said the ex-executive director of the JPMC, who had been suffering from lung disease, had to be shifted to a private hospital in Karachi after her health deteriorated.
Meanwhile, he has appealed to the nation to pray for the speedy recovery of her wife.
Seemi Jamali was initially diagnosed with colon cancer in November 2020.
