TAXILA: The Department of Operative dentistry, HITEC Institute of Medical Sciences (HITEC-IMS), recently organised a one-day workshop on rotary endodontics as part of the faculty development program.
Prof Dr Beenish Qureshi, Dr Sharaz Ahmed, Dr Amna Riaz and Dr Usman Ashraf summoned the workshop. It was conducted in the skills lab and was attended by faculty members of basic and clinical sciences.
The session began with a detailed lecture on rotary endodontics and a hands-on demonstration of rotary canal preparation with a pro taper gold system on a typodont.
Prof Dr Irfan Shah, Principal Dental college, HITEC-IMS, also actively participated in the workshop. At the end of the workshop, the participants were handed out certificates of participation.
