KARACHI: The Continuing Dental Education (CDE) committee of Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences (SSCMS) recently organised a session on orthodontic treatment.
They invited Dr Sadia Shabbir, a gold medalist graduate of Fatima Jinnah Dental College, as the chief guest speaker to highlight the advantages of orthodontic treatment and its effects on the patient's personality. Dr Sadia presented personally treated orthodontic cases to the students and dental faculty and showed how patient confidence improves after treatment. Moreover, she also inspired dental students toward postgraduation in dentistry.
Prof. HR Sukhia, Principal Dental College, SSCMS, highly appreciated Dr Sadia. The event was followed by certificate distribution. The Principal and the administration greatly appreciated the efforts of the CDE committee to promote a clinical orientated environment amongst the students.
