KARACHI - Sind Health Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar’s directives bore fruit to the extend that X-ray films, medicines, and other laboratory facilities have been provided to Lyari General Hospital recently.
Health Minister Jam Mehtab had taken notice of the news that x-ray films were not available and lab tests were not being conducted at the hospital and he, as such, directed the secretary health to provide X-rays and medicines to the hospital so that patients get the treatment and their sufferings come to an end.
Spokesperson health department, in the meanwhile, has clarified as to the news published in some section of the press that there was no treatment unit for the paralysis patients in government hospitals. He said that in all government hospitals neuro-physicians were available and all medical facilities were also being provided to the paralysis patients. Adding further he said that comprehensive steps had been taken to make the better environment in government hospitals and results of the measures taken proved very good.
