DIY dentist in UK pulls out 11 teeth

UK: George Glinos, from Childwall, had been doing dental procedures on his own teeth after he was unable to find an NHS dentist to see to his dental problems. As a result of this, his teeth had become loose.

According to George, he had been calling the NHS at the beginning of every month, for several months in order to get an NHS dentist to deal with his problems. However, the NHS was "not interested" in taking on new patients.

"I haven't had a National Health dentist for probably four, maybe five years, not for the want of trying. Every time I try, nobody is interested in taking new people on" said George.

Speaking to the UK media regarding his issue he said that his not being able to get an NHS dentist, impacted his personal life mentally and physically. He said that after not getting an NHS dentist he was left with no other choice but to treat his own teeth

Finally, after George realised that the problem still persisted, he had resorted to taking painkillers constantly in order to alleviate the pain. In the end, when nothing helped, George, as a result of being under constant severe pain, pulled out 11 of his painful teeth that had become loose over the years.
